I went to go "late pledge" and I was already on the fence cuz of the price, but seeing that shipping was going to be another $30 just made it too much for me. Not going to buy; But I really hope you enjoy it!
The board is 33'' x 22", you play on the smaller side.
For many, look like it's a issue and I can understand why, because the missions (dreams) and slumbers are played in a section far away on the board and often you probably need to stand up to get a better view on what's going on.
The exploration on the world map is the closer section for you if you play solo and if you dont have the space (like me) to sit near the side of the board
Anyway for ma part I dont care much so far because when I'm playing solo I'm often standing up anyway, no matter the game. However I consider to play without it if I need to leave from my actual gaming place which is the only place where I can put the board.
It's not that essential because it's more like a (beautiful) space who suggest you how to organize your stuff.
Well, the Delta Phase slumber is a card you discover soon in the campaign.
When you travel in the ''world'' map you encounter slumber witch is mostly (so far for me) ennemy encounter.
At some point you flip the Delta Phase card who allow you a small reset of the game. So when you draw that card you can switch with Thorn: You take his cards instead, add 5 cards from the player'deck who made the switch and play with him until you die or encounter again the Delta Phase in your exploration. Then you can switch back if you want.
The Wisdom card explain how to use it, but you need to play yhe game until you unlock the Delta Phase Slumber ,because its in that phase where you can switch into that mode.
The way I understand this it's when you play with the thorn shell, you can gain either, buy cards, gain flaw cards etc., but when you undo that mode everything come back to the initial dreamer.
Thanks a lot for the info.

Thanks a lot that really helped! That seems very interesting for solo play.
BTW would you happen to know the dimensions of the Gameboard?

Thanks for the response, if you could provide more details that would be great.
So you can switch to during the delta phase, but when can you switch out?
P.S. I don't own the game, but looking into buying it and this information would really help.
Look like fun, I'm thinking to try it soon.
