Do I understand correctly that if we achieve victory in a slumber via a deliverance action we don't get the loot? The scripts in the journal we found so far only stated: "Victory, This slumber ends". Or is there another rule on slumbers that I've missed?

The game always tells you if you should gain Loot. If there's nothing about Loot while resolving the Deliverance script, you don't receive it.
