We’ve played for several hours now and have yet to place any non-setup slumber map tiles.
My husband and I are in disagreement: The top text of many Fate cards say “Draw and place 1 dreamscape slumber tile.” He interprets this to mean draw and resolve a slumber tile. I think it means place a a dreamscape slumber MAP tile. We‘ve been playing it his way, so our slumbers only utilize the two set up dreamscape map tiles.
What does “Draw and place 1 dreamscape slumber tile“ mean to you?
It is a map tile. This is how you populate the slumber map. Always make sure to place the number for the grid exactly where it is on the grid, even if it offsets the new tile from the other tiles you already have out. Also, if the fate card is a Quirk card and there is an open space for a Quirk card you must place the quirk card in that space. Something I made a mistake on in our first slumber with a Quirk card, was that I thought the Quirk card was a space you moved your mini onto. That is not the case. When you put Quirk cards out, double check the rules on how to interact with them. Enjoy!
