What does it mean if after playing a Deliverance action, you get the result 'Victory'. Does this only mean you succeeded the slumber? Because I thought deliverance was a way to permanently get rid of cards from the slumber deck?
For example for the Wraith, we can only find 2 ways to victory, but not a way to get rid of it permanently. Is this correct?
Once you’ve tried one deliverance card, can you try another in the same slumber?
> Yes. Remember, however, that some Deliverance cards have additional conditions (eg "if no Dreamer used any Assault action ...").
Once you’ve tried one deliverance card, can you try another in the same slumber?
> First, "Victory" is a tag that is used by some cards (for example, "If you end this Slumber with a Victory...").
Likewise, "Failure" is a tag used by some cards and scripts.
It is also a clear message to the player as to whether the Slumber ended well (Victory) or bad (Failure).
Second, for the scripts connected to Deliverance cards, the tag "Victory" is followed by the sentence "This Slumber ends.", which means that Slumber has thus ended.
Correct. Some entities can be permanently changed/defeated, others cannot (and just say "victory" or "this slumber continues" or whatever).
On the plus side, once you know which Deliverance cards win a Slumber, that gives you a shortcut to a turn 1 victory.
