G’day,
So I’ve finally finished the mammoth task of sleeving all my tiles and cards. naturally they’re now too thick to store in the original packaging but they also don‘t quite fit in the box the sleeves came in, I can do some in the original box and some in the sleeve box but is their any tips and tricks you guys have found that might save me from stressing too much? (or do I unsleeve everything so it can fit nicely in the original box?)
Recommended solution:
a simple Ender 3 ;)
I haven't done up indexing tags yet and my sleeve tray is 180 to yours, but otherwise pretty much that. Those little inserts are awesome! I need to get a 3D printer, or find a friend to print those for me. If you don't mind, what kind of printer do you use?
This is what I've done so far.. I've 3D printed a layer of boxes that fit perfectly into the inserts thanks to xiphile (Etherfields Token Organizer by xiphile - Thingiverse) and added number tags between the cards...
Still no official "store-it-all" photo from AR, weird...
I ended up sleeving only those cards that need shuffling, which seems to be only maybe 1/3rd or 1/4th of the total count... Now everything fits nicely into the two boxes in the way that I want them to fit (loosely, so that I can easily browse secret cards and keep all other cards neatly arranged in their own separate areas). Originally I was going to sleeve all, but I changed my mind when it started to look like there would not be enough space for comfortable storage... And that's a shame, really. Maybe I should try to get some thinner sleeves and see if that helps. But anyway - on the plus side - now, without sleeves, the rich and moody artwork on the story and entity cards / tiles sticks out with more vivid colors :)
Am I supposed to keep the cards in the order they came in? Started sleeving today and am a little confused. I have kept the first stack of cards I sleeved in order. 1-08G to 1-14E. Just took one randomly and started sleeving. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up.
I must say that I'm very curious about this as well...
I'm currently making my own dividers to organize the cards ( 01, 02, 03,... on tiles and I-01,I02,... on secret cards) I have all the numbered cards in the sleeve expansion box and the un-numbered ones in the main.
I put all of the 80x63mm cards other than the secret cards into the main box. The secret cards all fit in the box the sleeves came in. Not sure if that was what the designers intended, but it fit pretty well that way.
I recommend cutting up the long foam padding that protected the un-sleeved cards into three parts and putting it on the bottom of each of the three molded plastic 80x63mm card areas. This will prevent the corners of cards from falling into the reservoir and being stored at an angle.
Having same issue. I've only just thrown a bunch in one box and a ton in the other as the same pic above. I'm also a bit confused what the custom card holders is for. Is this for the influence deck?
Any update on this? Looking forward to seeing that photo.
> We'll be back soon with a photo that will help you arrange the items in the boxes...
This is how I’ve got it atm.... I’m nearly dont the first tutorial so some cards are on the board. (I need to resolve S133 if you’re up to there) but I have no idea how to use the dividers to keep track of my “decks”now that they’re all sleeved... to be fair I’m not the most organised person in the world so that plays against me.
Wow, I'm really curious about this. What part is not fitting? Assuming you used all Awaken Realm's sleeves (since you have the sleeve box)? I think some cards are meant to stay in the core box when sleeved, and the sleeve box is supposed to hold all the overflow (including everything for the expansions shipping next wave). Are you able to attach pictures in the comments of how you have them set up in the boxes now? I'd really like to see how they fit with sleeves. Now I'm nervous about sleeving mine!
