Well you’re not wrong… I also used a giant cardboard sheet to preserve the game state… but due to my gaming friend’s unexpected life situations, it’s been sitting aside for like 2 months. So yeah I also probably won’t remember what actions we unlocked… although we did write some of them down, so maybe that will help. We’re in the middle of the mud factory.
The misses and me always start when the kids are into bed (also usually once a week ) and sins we have to go to work the next day we also dont have 6H to play .
We play about 3h and that usually results in , deciding what dream to do (if we havnt previous session) getting the keys and doing 1 dream . Off course sometimes that time is stretched a little more if we encounter a long dream.
We also placed our board on a wooden plank the size of the board and placed it somewhere safe so we can skip the setup/cleanup time .
1-2H sessions wil mean u have to do one or the other , a dream or getting the keys .
Everyone plays there way depending on there time and the willingness to invest time , didnt meant anything with my previous comment cause in some dreams theres so manny things u can do, i was not kidding , i litterly wont remember what we have done and what not the next day or week.
I hope u find a way to keep going for it cause its shitloads of fun (exept one action in one dream) , our next session is the homecoming dream and we are both exited .
Some people don’t have 4h, 6h, or whole days, where we can just play until we hit a convenient stopping place. My situation requires playing this in short 1-2h sessions, 2 or more weeks apart. I don’t stop during a dream because I want to, I do it because I have to.
thats a long one :)
