Secret Passage, what if you end a Dream? Do you get rewards and complete it or just lose keys and exit?

I might be wrong, but I'd say you lose the keys you used to enter, keep whatever you gained until that moment, and exit without reward or penalty (except for the 1 distress per player stated on the card).
