Flaw cards in progress zone

A few questions:

1. If something asks you to flip a progress card, can you flip a flaw such as jelly legs?

2. For the slumbers that care what number of progress cards you have, do flaw cards like jelly legs count? Example: “what’s so creaky?”

3. Can I discard ether to remove a flaw after it’s been placed in my progress zone? (Or is that option only available at the moment you draw the flaw card?)

I assumed “no” for all these, at least until someone corrects me.

To be fair Im only sure about the third, because the flaw card itself tell to spend 1 ether and discard or play it. Then there's always a way to discard them and draw them again. In not sure about the second, the rulebook says that they dont count towards the card limit and i notice that they dont have written "progresso card" on them, only to put them where progresso card should be (if this is true then the first questione its also no)

Thanks... is there any part of the book that confirms this though? I couldn’t find anything explicit. I just tend to err toward whatever seems more challenging, so I don’t find out later that I accidentally cheated.

@Georgia King I think we can infer some of these from the rules even if it's not explicit.

(1) For instance, Flaw cards aren't actually Progress cards---some of them are placed into the Progress zone to remind us of their effects (they aren't labelled with the Progress keyword like Progress cards and the Flaw cards section of the rule doesn't refer to them as Progress cards). Therefore, the rule on pg. 13 doesn't apply to Flaw cards placed into the Progress zone: "Sometimes, you will be asked to Flip a card - it means that you must flip a placed Progress card face-down" (2) See (1) and the rules on pg. 17 also notes that Flaw cards in the Progress zone "are not counted toward the active Progress cards limit."
