The hint is possibly more vague than it probably should have been on the Raven-Man card.
Don't resolve either of the scripts written on the card - add them together and resolve s.569
If you get card F (by spending 6 story tokens) you can see the full text at the bottom of his card telling you to: "Try to connect both these paths. Do you guess how?" whereas if you get card G (by only spending 3 story tokens), the words at the bottom are obscured and you don't get that hint.
Okay i was on the other hand thinking way to far for this. using the method of how to combining the numbers of the floors to get the stories. because the 2 stories option where above each other. and always the number going first apers left side of the card. So I was thinking using the left number of the lower script and the right number of the upper scrip. to get to 54 but felt a bit defeated after feelign clever to think about it that way. In a way i find my solution to a puzzel more clever since you must use the gimmick of the dream to solve this last puzzle instead of adding a total new way of solving problems. one that get not used and even ill advised during gameplay.
I thought it was obvious given the kind of silly stuff we have been doing up till niw
Wow, this is completely ridiculous. Who thought this was ok to put in the game? There are literally no hints anywhere that suggest you need to add the numbers together, and worse yet you would actively avoid doing, because the entire game has taught you that the book of secrets is supposed to be secret and you're not supposed to read a passage unless specifically prompted because otherwise it will contain spoilers.
Maybe, just maybe if it had said *combine* both the paths that would be different, but connect the paths? Come on, wtf. Now I have to spend another 3 hours farming keys and doing this dream all over again for what? Imagine if I hadn't checked online for spoilers. Someone could do this dream 100 times, think the game is broken, and just quit.
This dream is unacceptable @Awaken Realms
@Marcin Koszów -- I thought the same thing. After my 4th attempt at this dream, I finally went to the forums to solve this one. I was not expecting to add two numbers, especially given the clue.
My idea about this was to somehow get both Raven-Man cards (F & G) at the same time. Then perhaps combining them together would reveal some new message. Then I took the leap of faith and thought that arranging the floor sequence in a specific order would reveal some new path - nope. The game teaches us certain mechanics (combining cards & tiles) than suddenly expect us to come up with something totally out of place.
This makes me angry. How does connecting both paths lead to summing them? Of course it's a way to connect them, but there should be a clue somehwere that this was the way to combine them, like revealing a card with the additional option. I really enjoyed the dream, the race, the infinite loop. But this ending left me with such a sour taste I am taking a small break.
