Card Removal Question - [Spoilers]

Thanks for the response! I definitely misused Note Card 11-41 A (Good, Good Boy) during the dream. I thought it was a clever nonviolent way to take care of the remaining spawned Dogs after taming the first one. And instead of removing tile II-36 E Dogs slumber card, I removed tile I-15 X Dogs dream entity.

I was referring to script 509 where it says "Add tile II-36 E to the Slumber deck unless it is there already." but that makes more sense now that I realize it was different than I-15 X during the dream.

Thanks for this clarification! Cool game so far, but I need to read things more carefully!

If you successfully tame a dog early, and then use the new card to pacify the dogs, the Dogs slumber card is removed from the game (permanently)?

1] You are in the Dream I-15 and succesfully Tame the Dog for the first time, so you gain Note card II-41 A ("Good, good boy!").

This Note card can be used only during the Dogs Slumber (not in any Dream!), yes?

2] Later, when you are in a Slumber with Dogs, you perform the action on the "Good, good boy" card - so, you remove the Dogs Slumber tile from the game (permanently) and add II-38 L tile ("Friendly dogs") in its place, to the Slumber deck.

Then, on success, the script tells me to add the Dogs slumber back to the secret cards. Does this supercede the earlier removal, or is this for a different victory case?

If I don't replace the card because it was removed, what does that mean for Dream II 39 U's Setup?

And in Dreams you do NOT use the Slumber deck.

So the change of Dogs in Slumber deck has nothing to do with the situation of Setup in Dream I-15 (and with it's Dreamgate II 39 U).
