Save after the dream

My partner and I played through the tutorial. He isn't much of a gamer so getting an hour or more out of him is an accomplishment. We packed the game away after finishing the game and gaining our ether, not realizing we also had to save our deck of cards (We had no progress cards). Anyone any suggestions on what we can do to re-start the game at a fair state.
