1) Can I gain MORE hours on the clock wit respect to player limit? I would suppose since you can go up to 6 hours on the clock.
2) When resolving the Delta phase, if you have more hours on the clock compared to player limit (due to above mentioned point 1), would you during the reset hours step lose those extra gained hours and reset to player limit?

No, you cannot have more than 6 hours.
Yes, you reset the hours to the limit based on the number of players regardless if you have more or less.
