On page 12 of the rulebook, middle column, just above the "0" icon, there is a sentence saying: "The received Intent must be spent immediately (you cannot keep it 'in reserve' for later)." That sentence isn't really in the specific context of movement, but I think it implies that we probably can't sandwich other actions in between half-executed moves, because doing that would require "floating" the intent spent for the move.
